Room and therapist plan
Each appointment shows its room and therapist on the row; clashes are visible in the weekly calendar and hours outside opening times are closed.
Solutions · Massage salon
In a massage salon the day is bounded by room and therapist capacity. HMS Spa holds an appointment together with its room and therapist, deducts the package session from the appointment and reports therapist commission on its own report.
What a massage salon sells is time: the forty-five or ninety minutes a therapist spends in a room. So management’s first question is capacity — which room is free at which hour, which therapist is available. Its second is continuity: how many sessions the regular client has left and how much they have paid. Its third is commission: who did how many sessions and what that comes to. Kept in three separate books, none of the three stays reliable.
In HMS Spa appointments live in a weekly calendar; you pick the branch and the date, click an empty slot to open an appointment and drag it to move it. Each appointment carries its room and therapist on the row, and hours outside opening times show as closed. The appointment list filters by client, service, staff member, status and date range, with the price, the amount paid and the balance on the same row.
The package screen holds session-based and minute-based packages together. Each row shows the package price, the amount paid, the balance and the sessions used out of the total; a session is deducted from the appointment or the client record and the remainder updates instantly. The client record holds past sessions, notes and tags — pregnancy, injury, pressure preference — so the information sits on the record rather than in the therapist’s memory.
On the payment side a check is opened under a room name; services and products are added, and closing it prints a receipt. The finance screen filters income, expenses and the net figure by branch and date range. The staff performance report shows how many sessions each therapist did and what they brought in, and the commission report what that comes to; both tables download as Excel and PDF. Therapists see their own day in the iOS and Android apps.
Modules that matter here
Each appointment shows its room and therapist on the row; clashes are visible in the weekly calendar and hours outside opening times are closed.
Both package types on one screen. Price, amount paid, balance and sessions used out of the total on the row; sessions deducted from the appointment.
Past sessions, health notes and tags on one record. The loyalty wallet and satisfaction surveys are tabs on the same record.
Services and products are added to a check opened under a room name; closing prints a receipt, and cash and card are taken on the same screen.
Staff performance and commission reports by branch and period; counts and turnover on every row, totals on the bottom row.
Therapists see the day’s appointments from their phone; the owner watches the till and reports from outside.
Capacity
An appointment needs both a room and a therapist; if either is taken, the hour cannot be sold. Because appointments appear on the calendar with their room and therapist, a clash is noticed while the booking is being made, not in the evening. That is also what makes dragging useful: move an appointment to another hour and you see on the same screen which room has freed up.
Commission and till
Who did which session is recorded on the appointment and check rows, so commission is not worked out by hand. The staff performance report carries counts and turnover, and the commission report what that comes to. Income, expenses and the net figure filter by branch and date range, with expense categories such as rent and supplies and income from services, packages and retail shown separately.
After your trial request we open an account for your business. There is no setup and no server; you sign in at app.hmsspa.com.
Room or booth names, opening hours, time zone and currency are defined.
The service list with durations and prices is entered; session-based and minute-based packages are defined separately.
Therapists get their own accounts and permissions; reception sees the calendar and each therapist sees their own day.
Frequently asked
Each appointment shows its room and therapist on the row and they are drawn side by side in the weekly calendar, so a clash is noticed while the booking is made. Hours outside opening times show as closed, so nothing is booked into a closed hour.
Yes. Packages are defined in two kinds, session-based and minute-based. Each row shows the price, the amount paid, the balance and the amount used out of the total; payments and instalments are handled from the same row.
Staff performance and staff commission are separate reports in the panel. You pick the branch and the period; each row shows the count and the turnover with totals on the bottom row, and the tables download as Excel and PDF.
On the client record. Notes and tags sit on the record and show in the list; opening the record from the appointment shows them alongside past sessions.
